Nominations for Commencement 2027 honorary degree and Emil Usibelli Awards due Feb. 27

Feb. 27 is the deadline to submit honorary degree nominations for Commencement 2027. Nominations for the Emil Usibelli Distinguished Teaching, Â鶹¹ÙÍø, and Public Service Awards are also due Feb. 27. Nomination guidelines, eligibility criteria, and submission forms are available on the Office of the Provost’s website.

    Honorary degree recipients are selected one year in advance. Nominations should include an initial nomination letter, supporting letters, and a curriculum vitae or biography for the candidate.

    These awards recognize extraordinary excellence in teaching, research, and public service aligned with UAF’s tripartite mission.

Please note that a nomination is considered complete only when all required materials (including signatures, where applicable) have been submitted.
