Not just from the returning sun but from that unmistakable hum of frantic final prep, the collective exhale of hard-earned relief and the kind of pure joy that only graduation weekend can spark. In the 20-plus years I've spent walking these halls as both a student and staff member, this seasonal "fever" remains my absolute favorite time of year.

    The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Fairbanks chancellor advisory search committee, in consultation with the executive search firm WittKieffer, has completed Zoom interviews with nine candidates and submitted its recommendations to Â鶹¹ÙÍø President Pat Pitney for review and selection of candidates to advance to the next stage of the search process. President Pitney will extend invitations to a select number of candidates for on‑campus interviews, which are expected to take place during the week of May 4.
