Make UAF's first Admitted Student Experience memorable

The Office of Admissions needs your help in welcoming admitted students to the UAF Class of 2030 during the upcoming Winter Carnival, Feb. 13-14. These new Nanooks will be on campus to participate in our very first Admitted Student Experience, enjoying all that the weekend has to offer, as well as getting a jump start with advising, financial aid, taking tours, and an academic adventure curated just for them.
While they may not be on campus full-time until August, please go out of your way when you pass them with their families on campus (you can't miss their name tags) and our ambassadors and staff with the bright yellow beanies. An extra special feature of the event will be the celebration stations positioned around campus. Celebration stations provide our guests with the opportunity to "commit on the spot" to UAF, receive a Committed Nanook ribbon and ring celebratory sleigh bells. Join us in cheering them on if you're near a station. In fact, join us at the table to make their memory of the occasion even more memorable. A quick “Welcome to UAF!” goes a long way.
Every time you hear bells that weekend, it means another Nanook has joined our family. Let's make their visit to UAF a memory of a lifetime!
