Reminders to finish your required cybersecurity training through KnowBe4 have been sent out-- users that have completed their training are erroneously being notified as well. If you receive a message from KnowBe4 that says you have 0 incomplete/overdue assignments, please ignore it and feel free to delete it from your inbox! The OIT Security team is aware of the malfunction.Microsoft 365 License Changes
Microsoft is discontinuing the M365 A1 Plus license, and affected users are being transitioned from the M365 A1 "Plus" license to the M365 A1 license. Users in the affected groups will see a banner in their desktop Office applications warning about their license being deactivated, and eventually lose access to the desktop versions of the apps.

Beginning December 18, 2025, the UA Single Sign-On verification process is changing. The phone call option will be retired, while Duo Push will upgrade to the new Verified Duo Push method. Verified Duo Push adds a quick, code-based verification step within the Duo Mobile app, offering stronger protection against university-targeted cyberattacks.

In response to increased threats to UA login credentials and university services, UA will be requiring Duo Verified Push for all Duo Mobile app users and will also be removing the Duo Phone Call option.
