The Alaska Federal and State Technology Partnership (FAST)[BROKEN LINK], a free program sponsored by the Small Business Administration, was created to increase the number of America’s Seed Fund Small Business Innovation and 鶹 (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) awards, and to foster innovation for women, socially/economically disadvantaged individuals, and small businesses in Alaska.

Last month, Center ICE’s Evelyn Jacome attended the Accelerate Alaska Conference, a unique opportunity to connect with entrepreneurs, ecosystem support organizations and state stakeholders, to share the exciting new FAST program.

“The conference provided a platform for the innovation ecosystem stakeholders, entrepreneurs and industry in Alaska — from energy to blue economy — to come together and discuss the work and areas of growth in the state. It's vital to engage and network with all our partners towards a common goal,” said Evelyn Jacome, Alaska FAST program director.
