Flywheel Testing Update: Installation
Hatch researchers are now full time in ACEP’s Energy Technology Facility putting their flywheel through its paces.
Configuration is being completed and the flywheel is being tested in the simulated microgrid environment ACEP’s Energy Technology Facility can provide. This allows researchers from Hatch to calibrate their device for smaller communities aiming to utilize variable power sources such as wind in conjunction with diesel generators.
