The Biomass Heating Integration Workshop will take place March 3rd and 4th at the
Mountain View Branch Library in Anchorage!
Topics for the Workshop include wood gasification, pellet boiler application, employing
outdoor resets, heat metering, thermal storage, hydronic system design, and system
                           controls.
Sponsored by the Alaska Energy Authority and the Native Tribal Health Consortium,
the Workshop will feature Professor Emeritus John "Siggy" Siegenthaler, P.E. as a
speaker. Siggy is a renowned biomass design professional with decades of system design,
installation, and integration experience under his belt.  He will provide “best practices”
instruction for streamlined and efficient installation, maintenance, and performance
                           of biomass heating systems.
This workshop is designed for engineers, school and utility maintenance staff, mechanics,
designers, and architects.  It will be an excellent opportunity to join other Alaskan
energy and engineering professionals in learning about the best practices of modern
biomass heating system design and installation.
