ACEP Collaborates with URSA for Intern Hires
 
                        
                        
                        					
                        
                        ACEP researchers, Daisy Huang and Marc Mueller-Stoffels, have just received funding from the to mentor two undergraduate research students in a feasibility study on snow removal from solar panels. The undergraduate students will design and build simulated solar panels and investigate the cost to benefit ratio of active snow removal, when weighed against produced power. Additionally, Dr. Huang will guide the two students through a course of study on renewable power deployment in Alaska.
